With the end of summer just around the corner, the fever pitch of wedding season has officially come to a close. That means you can finally retire that all-purpose party dress, those fancy dress shoes that pinch your toes and that Pinterest board full of wedding hair inspo that never ends up quite right. But before you do, there’s one last summer wedding left to celebrate, and that’s the one between Skylar Astin and Anna Camp — and she shared some up-close shots of her gorgeous wedding dress on Instagram on Monday.
The actress, who wed her Pitch Perfect co-star over the weekend in an outdoor ceremony in California, shared some detailed images of her dress for the big day on her social media account, thanking Reem Acra and her glam team for making her wedding a total dream come true.
The dress itself features a strapless, fitted bodice with a sweetheart neckline featuring all-over lace embellishments that extended down like delicate vines onto the tulle circle skirt, which may seem very full as is, but as Anna put it, “sometimes you gotta get your dress fluffed!”
The actress finished off her newlywed look with a delicate pair of diamond earrings and a thin silver headband that held her long veil in place – all vintage Neil Lane. It may not have been held in a 19th century British castle, but Anna and Skylar’s countryside nuptials just might take the “fairytale come true” title from Ciara and Russell.
